From March 15^th to the 19^th, 2026, the city of Panama City became a key meeting point for professionals in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, with the celebration of the Panama Arbitration & ADR Week 2026.

Representing Quijano & Associates, our attorneys Rolando Villalobos, Anna Bernal Riley, and Dr. Adriano Correa (Director of our Litigation & Arbitration Department) participated in this distinguished initiative, which brought together both national and international experts in the field.

It is worth noting that our firm was involved in this important event from its early stages, having participated in its launch and served as a sponsor of this edition, as a demonstration of our commitment to strengthening arbitration and ADR mechanisms in the region.

Over the course of five days, the event provided a comprehensive platform for analyzing the latest trends, best practices, and challenges in both domestic and international arbitration, as well as in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms (ADR), including mediation and Dispute Boards. Through conferences, panel discussions, and strategic networking opportunities, the event fostered knowledge exchange and the strengthening of professional relationships.

The Panama Arbitration & ADR Week brought together arbitration practitioners, in-house counsel, arbitrators, mediators, experts, Dispute Board professionals, and advanced law students, offering key tools for professional development and updates on procedures, strategies, and standards applicable across various forums.
