Buenos Aires, September 2025 – On September 3rd and 4th, the First International Congress on Law and Technology: Web3 Applied to Business was held in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual). The event was organized by the Faculty of Law of Universidad Austral in collaboration with the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid.

The main objective of this event was to promote the responsible adoption of emerging technologies—such as the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) and artificial intelligence—within a clear regulatory framework adapted to the evolving technological landscape.

During the Congress, Oliver Muñoz, our partner at Quijano & Associates, participated as a panelist in the session titled “Web3 and the Practice of Law in Latin America: Legal Strategies—Perspectives and Outlooks,” alongside:

The panel was moderated by Rocío Álvarez Ossorio (Spain) and addressed key issues such as applicable regulatory frameworks for Web3, the role of tokenization in the legal sphere, and the region’s challenges in legal digital transformation.
