Quijano & Associates attends the Panama’s Arbitration & ADR Week 2025

From the 17th to the 20th of March, 2025, Panama City became the hub for arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) with the celebration of the Panama’s Arbitration & ADR Week, organized by the Panama Center for Conciliation and Arbitration (CECAP).

Our law firm was honored to take part in this prestigious event, represented by Dr. Adriano Correa E., Director of our Litigation and Arbitration Department, as well as associate, Anna Bernal Riley, who engaged in academic sessions and strategic networking alongside top industry professionals.

Over the course of four days, the event brought together arbitrators, mediators, specialized attorneys, corporate representatives, and Dispute Boards experts to discuss the latest trends, best practices, and challenges in national and international arbitration.

A High-Level Academic Agenda

The Panama’s Arbitration & ADR Week featured a diverse program, including conferences, panel discussions, and practical seminars, such as:

  • Sports Arbitration Conference (March 17)
  • National and International Arbitration Conference (March 18-19)
  • CIAC Women’s Conference (March 19)
  • Practical Seminar on Dispute Boards in Construction Contracts (March 20)
  • Mediation and Conciliation Conference: Reducing the Costs of Business Disputes (March 20)

This event was a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections with other professionals, exchange knowledge, and reaffirm our commitment to the development of arbitration and mediation in Panama and the region.
