Quijano & Associates advises EXSUSA Group on the acquisition of the Interamerican University of Panama (UIP) for US$90 million

In a complex but transparent and efficient transaction, Universal Knowledge Systems Inc. and Global Education Services Inc., affiliates of Grupo EXSUSA, achieved the purchase of 100% of the operation and fixed assets of Universidad Interamericana de Panamá (UIP), for an approximate sum of $90 million.

The parties of the signing of the purchase agreement were Rafael Sánchez, representative of Banistmo, José Barrios Ng, President of Grupo EXSUSA, Rick Sinkfield of Laureate International Universities, Juan Carlos Fábrega and Jaime Sosa, representatives of Prival Bank, as well as executives of Banco Prival and Banistmo, associates of the consulting company ABCO Global, executives of Grupo EXSUSA, and attorneys of some of the most prestigious law firms of the Republic of Panama; including Carla Rojas Pardini, Oliver Muñoz E. and Jaime Sánchez, Partners of Quijano & Associates.
