Panamanian Tax Authority (DGI, by its initials in Spanish) has informed that a new Procedure Secretariat, attached to the Legal Tax Department, has been created as of the 30th of September, 2019.
This new Secretariat has been created to make sure that all procedures are expedited and that the documentation arrives on a timely and safe manner. The Procedures Secretariat will be in charge of receiving all the specialized documentation for the Legal, Litigation, Prescriptions and Notifications Sections, as well as the Evasion and Tax Defaults Section.
