International Women’s Day Event: Mission Equality – Women, Inclusion, and Development

On Wednesday, March 12, we had the honor of welcoming a remarkable group of women from diverse fields and professions to commemorate International Women’s Day.
Together with our strategic partners, Siuma Talent and Sinergia 507, we created an enriching space for dialogue and reflection on key topics such as inclusion, female leadership, and the legal framework supporting women’s development.
Our senior associate, Ileana Céspedes, had the pleasure of leading an insightful discussion on the various laws that promote and protect women’s rights in our country and foster public policies for gender equality. This opened the floor for meaningful discussions—not only about the progress made so far but also about the challenges that lie ahead.
The event featured a panel discussion on “Best Practices and Barriers to Inclusion”, exploring strategies to foster equity across different sectors. Moderated by Juan Carlos Córdoba, the panel included: Dayanara Salazar (UN Women), Dadhjy Jiménez (General Manager, Siuma Talents) and Tania Torres (Director of Human and Economic Development, Ministry of Women)
Throughout the session, key discussions focused on:
Women’s leadership and its impact on professional growth
Legal aspects supporting gender equity
Best practices for fostering diverse and inclusive workplaces
Networking opportunities to strengthen alliances and career development
At Quijano & Associates, we reaffirm our commitment to gender equality and will continue to promote initiatives that empower and support women’s leadership.
A heartfelt thank you to all the participants and partners who made this inspiring gathering possible.
Let’s keep building a more inclusive and equitable future together!
