The Urban and Household Sanitation Authority (AAUD, in Spanish) has informed that with the entry into force of Article 79 of Law No. 276 of December 30, 2021, as of July 1st, 2022, the presentation of the good standing certificate (paz y salvo) for the garbage collection service will be necessary for any registration related to real estate at the Public Registry.
This certification has a cost of US $ 1.00 and is valid for thirty (30) days.
