Natalia De Obaldía focuses her practice on private wealth law and estate planning, advising families, corporations, and investors on structuring strategies that balance legal certainty with innovation. With experience in both traditional wealth planning and emerging technologies, she supports clients navigating the intersection of finance law.
Her practice spans the drafting and negotiation of international and domestic agreements, including joint ventures, real estate, construction, and cross-border transactions. She also advises companies on fund structuring, mergers and acquisitions, compliance frameworks, and financing transactions, while providing legal guidance to NGOs on incorporation and operational matters. Natalia has been part of international legal teams handling complex governmental debt restructurings, underscoring her ability to work in high-stakes, cross-border environments.
In addition to her legal practice, Natalia serves on the boards of several organizations in Panama, including the Panama Canal Museum, Fundación Trenco, Industria Panameña de Cilindros, and ENESA (Energía Natural, S.A.). She is also an Authorized Public Translator, recognized by the Ministry of Education.
