The Government of the Republic of Panama, through the Ministry of Economy and Finance, has issued Executive Decree No. 343 of July 7, 2020, by which an extension is granted to Panamanian financial institutions subject to reporting, according to the Automatic Information Exchange for tax purposes scheme FATCA and CRS, to present the information report for fiscal year 2019 until September 30^th, 2020 (which expired on July 31^st of this year). In the aforementioned decree, the updated list of reportable jurisdictions for the reports to be carried out in 2020 is made public.
