September 15, 2025Buenos Aires, September 2025 – On September 3rd and 4th, the First International Congress on Law and Technology: Web3 Applied to Business was held in a hybrid format (in-person and virtual). The event was organized by the Faculty of Law of Universidad Austral in collaboration with the School of Legal Practice of the Complutense University of Madrid.
The main objective of this event was to promote the responsible adoption of emerging technologies—such as the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA) and artificial intelligence—within a clear regulatory framework adapted to the evolving technological landscape.
During the Congress, Oliver Muñoz, our partner at Quijano & Associates, participated as a panelist in the session titled “Web3 and the Practice of Law in Latin America: Legal Strategies—Perspectives and Outlooks,” alongside:
- Navil Miguel Agramont (Bolivia)
- Fernando Lopes (Brazil)
- Miguel Ángel Romero (Spain)
The panel was moderated by Rocío Álvarez Ossorio (Spain) and addressed key issues such as applicable regulatory frameworks for Web3, the role of tokenization in the legal sphere, and the region’s challenges in legal digital transformation.

The session highlighted expert insights on the current state and future of financial and digital asset regulation, underscoring the need for regional cooperation, regulatory modernization, and dialogue between public and private sectors.
