On October 4 and 5, Panama was the setting for the EducaMente 2024 Congress, an event that, for the sixth consecutive year, brought together national and international experts in the fascinating field of neuroeducation. For two days, more than 500 educators and professionals from the sector enjoyed enriching conferences and workshops.
Commitment to Education
As part of our commitment to education, Quijano & Asociados donated 15 scholarships for teachers from the José Dolores Moscote Institute. In addition, we were honored to offer a conference on October 5 entitled “Executive Functions in students with autism, behavior, attention and emotional regulation”, given by the outstanding Mati Cadaveira.
Key Themes of the Congress
The event covered a wide range of topics relevant to educators, including:
- All-Terrain Teachers: How to implement experiential education in the classroom.
- Compatible Brain Planning: Strategies for planning effective lessons.
- Cooperative Learning: Beyond Simply Sitting in a Group.
These topics, among others, offered practical tools and innovative approaches to enhance the educational experience.

EducaMente was born from the vision of four moms, educators and therapists who dream of a more effective and compassionate education. Since its inception in 2019, they have worked tirelessly to transform the educational landscape in our country by promoting an approach that combines brain science with the heart.
Our goal is to highlight the importance of neuroscience in education and provide educators and parents with valuable resources to revolutionize their approach in the classroom and at home. Through congresses, virtual conferences, courses, customized sessions and articles, we seek to create a positive impact on the education of our children and adolescents.
